I recieved a request for a 1600 by 1200 render of this to be used as a desktop. Here it is an case anyone else wants it. It's just a (drastically) shrunk version of one of the shots on the poster I made. The original (5000 by 3300) took 211 hours to render, so you'd better enjoy it :p (Lick)

i dont get it? why did it take 211 hours?!?!?!

Do you have a P1 166MHz with 32MB of RAM?

cause ya know, there isnt anything special about this, its only shapes!!, see - there isnt any materials, like there is no shinny, reflection, raytrace, glassy effects, and no color, so I have no idea why this would take 211hours which is over 8 days, to render this aat 5000x3000?! hmmm...

I think thats really wicked i wish i lived in side a box, it would give me more disapline and forcing me to do more work on computer images and all. well i dont know much about 3d art yet but from a small version of this image it looked really relistic and even from the even smaller thubnail veiw i thought it was an actul real room photo yours i guessed. but yeah i can sort of see why u have took hours on this, making it as relistic as possible. dont put colour it would just damage the coldness, grey feelings and solitray meaning and feelings of living in a cube/box.

i should take a picture of my room its sort of the same but with out a computer and alot more things crammed inside. watch out for it.
